Terms & Conditions

1. Safety Rules & Regulations: These must be observed at all times. Failure to comply with Range Safety Officer instructions will result in immediate removal from the premises without a refund.

2. Insurance & Liability: While Oxford Shooting Academy maintains full public liability insurance, all participants are strictly responsible for their own actions. You are legally and financially responsible for every round you discharge and any resulting impact or damage.

3. Firearms Act Compliance: All participants must declare that they are not prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition by virtue of Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968.

4. Identification: Photo identification and proof of address (e.g. Passport and/or Driving Licence) must be presented upon arrival. No training will be permitted without verification of identity.

5. Age Restrictions: There is no fixed age limit; the priority is that any individual handling a rifle can do so safely and responsibly. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

6. Booking and Cancellations: A 25% payment is required to secure a booking; this is non-refundable. The final balance must be paid before midnight on the day before the training.

7. Medical Fitness: You must be physically and mentally fit to operate a firearm. You must notify us of any medical condition or medication that may affect your coordination, vision, or mental state. If you believe a disability could impact your ability to shoot a rifle, you must discuss it before booking.

8. Alcohol and Drugs: Oxford Shooting Academy operates a zero-tolerance policy. If you are suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you will be barred from the range.

9. Property and Equipment: Any damage to range property or equipment caused by negligence or a deliberate act will be charged to the participant.

10. Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse training to any individual at our absolute discretion, particularly where safety or legal concerns arise.

11. Data Protection: Your personal details will be held securely in accordance with UK GDPR. We are legally obliged to provide attendance records to the Police upon request.
